Summary

Two early 18th century two storey rendered brick houses, now a shop, with a pantile roof and a rebuilt modern east gable. To the rear of number 11 is a 15th century barrel-vaulted brick undercroft that extends beneath the churchyard of St Peter Hungate.

Formerly two houses, now shop, with 15th century undercroft.
Shop: early 18th century, east gable rebuilt in 20th century. Rendered brickwork and pantile roof. Two storeys, four bays. Central doors with rectangular fanlights. Casement windows throughout with flat arches.
Undercroft: to the rear of number 11 is a 15th century brick built pointed barrel vault undercroft, extending beneath the churchyard of St Peter Hungate.
The building is Grade II* (S1), because of the undercroft, one of an important group within the city walls.
