Summary

This bank was built in 1924 by Munro Cautly and extended into Davy Place by 1925. It is made from stone with slate and flat roofing. It occupies a corner site and has six major bays and the corner and end entrances have bolection bead and rod surrounds and a lintel with a figure-head keystone supported on scrolls. The roof has a ziggurat cornice with lion masks and fascia cornice.

Bank. 1924 by Munro Cautly and extended into Davy Place in 1925. Stone. Slate and flat roofs. Corner site. Six major bays, one minor bay to left and corner bay to right. Corner and end entrances with bolection bead and rod surround and lintel with figure-head keystone supported on scrolls. Above the lintel is a cartouche supported by putti. Heavy panelled pilasters dividing the bays with simple frieze between first and second floors. Ziggurat cornice with lion masks and fascia cornice.
