Summary

The former use of this building is unknown but it now operates as a public house. It dates to around 1500 with alterations being made from the 18th century onwards. The timber frame has rendered brick infill and the roof is covered with pantiles. Therer is a Greek Doric pub front with a central door and in the late 18th century a corner pub front was added. Of note is the high quality openwork timber tracery in two panels at first floor level.

Former use unknown, now public house. Dates to around 1500 with 18th century onwards alterations and late 18th century east additions. Rendered timber frame with rendered brick. Pantile roof, corner site. Market Place elevation: three storeys, jettied at first and second floors. Two second floor windows. Single bay to left. Four storeys. Greek Doric pub front with central door. Late 18th century addition has a corner pub front. 15th century windows with cusped arches at first floor. High quality openwork timber tracery in two panels at first floor.
