Full Description
February 1954. Listed, Grade II.
Former use unknown, now public house. Dates to around 1500 with 18th century onwards alterations and late 18th century east additions. Rendered timber frame with rendered brick. Pantile roof, corner site. Market Place elevation: three storeys, jettied at first and second floors. Two second floor windows. Single bay to left. Four storeys. Greek Doric pub front with central door. Late 18th century addition has a corner pub front. 15th century windows with cusped arches at first floor. High quality openwork timber tracery in two panels at first floor.
