Summary

This building is a former bombazine manufactory, now converted to a store and workshop. This three storey building dates to the early 19th century and is built of red brick with a pantile roof. Listed Grade II.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former bombazine manufactory, now store and workshop. Early 19th century. Red brick and pantile roof. Three storeys. Four windows at first floor. Plain central door with stable door to left. Mullion and transom windows with segmental relieving arches. Continuous frieze windows at second floor on both sides."

1970s or 1980s. Building Survey.
Nos 22-24 Magdalen Street examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three-storey back block contains remains of stables on ground floor, while the uppermost floor has long frieze windows front and back, suggesting an industrial use, possibly weaving. No interior features of note.
