Summary

A late 16th century three storey rendered timber framed former house, heightened and extended to the rear in the 18th century. After being saved from demolition in 1938, it was renovated twice before being split into flats in 1973.

Former use unknown, now flats. 16th century heightened and extended back to rear in 18th century. 19th century alterations and 20th century renovation. Rendered. Pantile roof. Three storeys, jettied at first floor. 19th century eight-light shopfront with glazing bars. Yard entry at extreme right. Sash windows throughout with simply moulded surrounds. Moulded stringcourse between first and second floors. Moulded box cornice.
16th century building was timber framed front and back. (S1).
