Summary

In 1962 a number of 14th century bricks were removed from a section of City Wall at Queens Road. They are now in the NCM.

Monitoring of renovation works at 218-242 Queen's Road.
A watching brief recorded part of a substantial medieval wall. This is possibly a 'lost' stretch of the city wall, although, if so, it is in an unexpected position.
