Summary

A much altered 16th century and later two storey flint and brick building, now a restaurant, with a timber framed first floor and a pantile roof. The long rear range of the building is reached by a passageway to the left. Beneath are two brick undercrofts, the one at the front 15th century, that to the rear 16th century.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former use unknown, now restaurant with 15th and 16th century undercrofts.
Restaurant: 16th century flint rubble with timber framed first floor. Pantile roof. Two storeys, jetty to first floor. Three windows at first floor. Left side entrance to Plumbers Arms Alley."

Complex L-shape block with large undercroft. Much rebuilt. First floor jetty. Street range suggest a date of about 1500.
Rear undercroft about 1400 to 1450. Front undercroft post 1507?
