Summary

The former use of these properties is unknown but they now operate as shops with a flat above. They date to the early 16th century with 19th and 20th century alterations. The first floor timber frame is partly rendered and the shopfronts at ground floor level are of 20th century date.

"Former use unknown, now shops with flat above. Early 16th century with 19th- and 20th-century alterations. First floor timber frame partly rendered. Pantile roof. The basement and first floor forms part of No 49 [NHER 26179]. Two storey. Two first floor windows. 20th-century shopfronts. Casement windows."
