This building and its undercroft are amongst those listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as an 18th-century street range with a later 18th-century rear extension of similar dimensions plus a long wing at right angles to the street line. Renovation work on the ground floor apparently exposed flat-section ceiling joists of 16th- or 17th-century date.
The undercroft is positioned at right to and on the street line and consists of two bays, each with an irregular rib pattern. The pattern of the ribs shows that the entry, plus an adjacent window, were in the north wall.
