Summary

No.4 is a 17th century, two-storeyed building with flint rubble walls that was heightened by the addition of three gable dormers. No.6 has some blocked windows on the rear elevation along with knapped and squared flints and several reused pieces of medieval ashlar. Preservation Trust work on Nos 2-4 revealed older brick surrounds to the windows which were altered in 19th century.

No.4 is a 17th century, two-storeyed building with flint rubble walls that was heightened by the addition of three gable dormers. Gable end chimney stacks with stack-side stairs at the northern end.

Preservation Trust work on Nos 2-4 (see 864) has revealed older brick surrounds to windows altered in 19th century.
No.6, now structurally part of building, has on rear elevation some blocked windows predating existing ones; some knapped and squared flints, reset, and several reused pieces of medieval ashlar, one with elaborate mouldings. The top storey is later, of red brick with a long weaving window.
Adjacent to No.6 is a medieval timber door and openwork grille, reset on alley from another location.
