To the rear, flanked each side by a yard, is a two-storeyed block of early 17th century date. This has flint rubble ground floor walls and timber-framed first floor walls. Norwich Survey (S2)
Two storey block with attics on street line, and two storey back range with yard. Interior gutted throughout for modern shop use. Details suggest a date of 1650-80 for the street range.

This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as a two-storeyed building with timber-framed first floor walls and a double butt-purlin roof and first floor ceiling beams that indicate a mid-17th century date. To the rear and flanked on both sides by a yard is a two-storeyed block with flint rubble ground floor walls and timber-framed first floor walls. This dates to the early 17th century.
The 20th-century use of the building has unfortunately destroyed any evidence for the original plan forms.
