Full Description
Long, 17th century building ranged along the street.
It was constructed with flint rubble walls to two storeys, and a second floor was added in the 18th century. It has a symmetrical facade with a central door that may, in part, reflect the original arrangement. There is a stack at each end of the building, that on the east of off-centre to accommodate stairs. Behind this there is a passage that leads from the street to a lobby within an 18th century rear extension. This passage is an original feature of the plan, and in the 17th century gave access to the rear of the building. Noteworthy interiors from the 18th and 19th centuries.
