Summary

This is a two-storey 17th-century building with a 19th-century façade. There is a chimney stack on each gable and an external stair turret that provides additional space for the stack-side stairs.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Former house, now office. 17th century with 18th- and 20th-century alterations and additions. Rendered. Black pantiles. Two storeys plus semi-basement. Five bays. Central door with eared, panelled surround, consoles and pediment...Rusticated quoins and paired bracket cornice. Hipped roof."

1979. Building Survey.
Nos 64 and 66 examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Two storey block raised upon extensive basement. Attics with dormers. No 66 is 19th century two up, two down cottage. Main block of no 64 is brick built, around 1960?

Nos 64 and 66 are amongst the buildings listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century architecture of Norwich. They are described as a two-storeyed plus semi-basement 17th-century ranged along the street with brick or flint rubble walls. No 64 has a 19th-century, symmetrical façade, and 18th- century side (No 66) and rear extensions. There is a chimney stack on each gable and an external stair turret that provides additional space for the stack-side stairs (compare with Nos 11-13 Willow Lane - NHER 26224).
