Summary

This two storeyed, single-cell building on the street-line dates to the 17th century. The first floor walls are timber-framed but the ground floor has been completely altered and incorporated into the adjoining 20th century showroom and garage. The building was probably constructed with a gable-end stack and stack-side stairs. The present arrangement reflects this and the stairs lead up directly from the street.
