Summary

This is a two storeyed, 17th century building with a 19th century second floor. It is ranged along the street front and the ground floor is now divided into four shops. The proportion of the building, and the axially off-centre chimney stack, suggest that it was built as a three cell house with stack-side stairs away from the street. There is another chimney stack on the gable away from the lateral stack, although its date is uncertain.
