Summary

A 17th century and later rendered timber framed block of four houses and a shop on a sloping site, originally two storeys high, but later raised to three. The block has been altered internally many times resulting in the present division into four properties.

Large 17th century or earlier building that forms one side of a triangular plain boarded by Elm Hill and Waggon and Horses Lane.
It is now three storeys high, and timber framed above ground floor level on the front and at the side facing Elm Hill.
The rear wall is probably constructed of flint rubble.
The block has been altered internally many times resulting in present division into four properties.
