Summary

This late 18th century block stands three stories high and is built from red brick with a pantile roof. At the east end is an earlier three storey block concealed behind the present street. There is also some evidence of a 17th century two storey block with an end extension. There are sash windows throughout with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Shops. Red brick. Pantile roof. Three storeys. Three widely spaced second-floor windows. Central double door with reeded pilasters, architrave and flat hood. Two late 19th-century shopfronts with central doors and narrow panelled end pilasters and architraves. Sash windows throughout with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. Small bracket cornice."

Late 18th century block, three stories high. Interior gutted. At east end, three storey earlier block concealed behind present street. Some evidence of a 17th century two storey block with end extension around 1690.

This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as the vestiges of a 17th-century single-cell building partly within the late 18th-century street range.
