This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as a two storey plus attic 17th-century building with timber-framed first-floor walls above flint rubble ground floor walls and a stack on each gable. There is a small range positioned centrally against the rear wall with a gable-end stack. It is difficult to assess the chronological relationship between the two blocks due to 19th-century alterations. It is though noted that a difference in roof constructions suggests the rear block may be a slightly later addition.
