Rear of 27 Prince of Wales Road.

January 1991. Field Observation.
Building works to rear of building. Excavation of foundation trench to depth of 1.50m revealed made ground.
Observation in poor light (early morning) prior to concreting suggested that made ground contemporary with or later than existing building.
Brick inclusions were modern.
The surface level is one storey beneath that of Prince of Wales Road.
The made ground was unbottomed. A probe indicated some 3m of deposits.
No finds.
