Summary

Nos 82 and 84 are two houses at right angles to the street. They probably date to the 17th century, and have two storeys plus a semi-basement. Listed Grade II.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Houses, 17th century. Flint rubble with brick quoins and gables. Street facade rendered. Pantile roof. Plan at right-angles to street line. Two storeys plus semi-basement. The north facade was originally symmetrical with a central pair of doors with steps up."

These houses are amongst those listed in thesis (S2), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. They are described as being probably of 17th-century date, although it is noted that modern restorations have covered all of the dating evidence.
