Summary

No 174 is a two storey single-cell building with brick dressed flint walls. A plaque on the rear wall dates the construction to 1623, although there has been 20th century renovation.

Formerly listed with No 176.
House. 1632 on plaque in rear wall. 20th century renovation. Painted flint rubble with brick patching. Pantile roof. Two storeys. Two bays. Door at extreme left in plain reveal. One casement window and one sash window with glazing bars at ground floor. Mullion and transome windows at first floor. Box cornice. Central dormer gable with casement window. Crow-step south gable.
