"Former use unknown now shop. 17th century with 20th-century alterations. Rendered at first floor. Pantile roof. Two storeys, jettied at first floor. Two bays. 20th-century shop-front with fascia and off-centre recessed door…"

This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S2), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. The front range is described as a two-storeyed building with timber-framed first floor. There is a long rear range with flint rubble walls and a 17th-century roof. Any evidence for the relationship between these ranges has apparently been destroyed by the use of the building as an open-plan shop.

This site was noted in directories from 1989 to 1890 and is marked on 1938 O.S. map (S3).
The large tower structure was used for curing bacon.
