Summary

No 28 is all that remains of what was originally an end terrace of three buildings built in the 17th century and identical to even Nos 34 to 38 Magdalen Street (NHER 26348). This timber-framed building is now a shop, and has a 19th century front and 20th century shop front.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"No 28 Magdalen Street.
Former use unknown, now shop. 17th century refronted in the 19th century, with 19th century out-buildings to rear. Timber framed, street front cased in red brick. Pantile roof. Two storeys. Two bays. 20th century shopfront with 19th century sash windows above."
