Summary

This public house dates to the 17th century but was heightened, refaced and extended in the 19th century. It is built from brick with stucco to the ground floor façade. It stands three storeys high and has six bays and has end and off-centre entrances. The ground floor ceiling has 17th century cross and axial beams with nicked end stops.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Public House. 17th century, heightened, refaced and extended in the 19th century. Brick with stucco to ground floor facade. Pantile roof. 3 storeys, 6 bays. The ground floor windows have raised stucco-surrounds and semi-circular heads with egg and dart imposts. End and off-centre entrances. Simple fascia."
