This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S3), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as a two-storey plus attic 17th-century building with flint rubble and brick walls, a chimney stack on each gable and a central door in the side wall away from Cow Hill. The interior dates to the 18th-century and is therefore contemporary with a small extension built against one of the gables.
