The undercroft has been truncated by an 18th century wall at the southern end, and by similarly dated cellars at the north. The undercroft occupies a corner position away from Princes Street but is parallel to and on the line of Redwell Street. Pointed barrel-vault with flat section, transverse ribs. There are side chambers in each bay on both sides, with openings above in main vaulting. The entry is in the northwest corner.
