Summary

The site of small structures and earthworks associated with industrial activity and extraction and the previously recorded kiln are visible on aerial photographs (S2-S4). The site is centred on TG 2476 0751. The extent of the site on the earliest available aerial photographs from 1942 (S1-2) has been added to the map, but no actual features have been transcribed in detail.
S. Horlock (NMP), 01 July 2010.

Marked on OS Map of 1938 as "Destructor" (incinerator), so presumably an incinerator, rather than a kiln.
