Summary

Archaeological observations were carried out here in 1998 during the laying of a gas pipe. The majority of deposits were of post medieval date and included two occurences of 19th century road setts, one of woodblock, one of Rhenish lava. Several walls encountered may relate to buildings formerly on the site, but are undatable.
