Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1990 and 2023 recovered Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons and tokens and various other, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman cosmetic pestle; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories and weights; medieval harness mounts, a harness pendant, coin weight, brooch, probable harness fitting, book clasp, thimble, lead pilgrim badge and lead seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval purse bar or mount fragment and a post-medieval Irish coin weight, harness mount, furniture fitting, crotal bell and lead cloth seals.

Medieval gilt bronze buckle plate, very worn, two rivet holes. Rocker arm ornament on each side of tongue.
Buckle with moulded decoration on frame.
Late medieval or post medieval double looped buckle, cast fleur-de-lys on tongue-rest to each loop.
Post medieval buckle frame, central bar missing, moulded decoration.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
