Summary
Fieldwalking and metal-detecting here in 1989 recovered quantities of iron slag, lead fragments including two weights, pieces of medieval and post-medieval metalwork and numerous prehistoric flint implements.

1989. Found in fieldwalking with metal detector.
Iron slag.
Lead, lots of; two lead weights.
Two Thetford type ware rim sherds and one possible bodysherd.
Medieval and post medieval metalwork, see lists in file. Identifications by S. Margeson (NCM).
Thirty-three Neolithic flint artefacts, see list in file. Identified by J. Wymer (NAU).
