Summary

Metal detecting in Haddiscoe during 1989 recovered a hoard of 412 Roman coins. Other Roman artefacts to be found comprised a bracelet, a ring and pottery sherds.

1989. Metal detecting.
Hoard of 412 bronze coins (all late third century) said to have been found with lots of Roman pottery, Roman bracelet and Roman ring with opposed dolphins.
