Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop. 17th century or earlier, timber framed with early 19th-/early 18th-century painted brick front with parapet with three shallow rectangular bands. Two storeys...Ground floor 19th-century shop front with entablature and cornice shaped out for shop windows...Steeply pitched black-glazed pantile roof. Wing at rear with close-set vertical stud timber framing exposed. Chamfered ceiling beams."

Good quality timber framed house, late 16th or early 17th century. Incorporates end wall of number 5 which is of earlier date. 17th and 19th century extensions at rear.
