Summary

Metal-detecting in 1991 recovered a hoard of Iron Age gold coins. Also found were a number of medieval and post-medieval objects. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered a Middle Saxon dress fastener.

14 gold staters; Gallo-Belgic E type. (60 to 50 B.C.) Found over an area approx 20 to 30m by 10m and to a depth of 43cm.
