Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1990 recovered a number of objects including part of a Neolithic polished flint axe, an Anglo-Scandinavian bronze Ringerike-style cheek-piece from a bridle, two pennies of Edward I and a fragment of a medieval bell.

Large reworked fragment, part of polished brown stained flint axe.
Anglo-Scandinavian bronze Ringerike-style cheek-piece from bridle (fragment of). Polaroid taken by NCM.
Medieval pottery including green glazed Grimston.
Edward I penny (Class IV 1282-1289). Pellet before Edward and before CIVITAS on reverse, London mint.
Edward I penny, bifoliate crown, (probably Class X 1302-1310), Bury St Edmunds mint.
Bronze lug pierced, from top of bell?
