Summary

Fieldwalking here during 1991 recovered prehistoric flints along with sherds of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery. Subsequent metal-detecting between 2000 and 2024 recovered a Late Prehistoric flint flake; medieval pottery sherds; a Roman or Early Saxon glass bead; Roman and medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Roman brooch and toilet set; a medieval lead pot mend and a post medieval hooked tag and button.
