Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1991 recovered sherds of Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Early Saxon, Late Saxon and medieval pottery. Subsequent metal detecting on site in 1992 retrieved a Roman coin of Antoninus Pius and the leg of a medieval bronze cauldron.
