Summary

Metal detecting in 1991 recovered a Roman coin, minted between AD 270 and 290, and a medieval penny. The penny was minted in Durham under Edward, but appears to have been mis-struck.

Medieval Edward penny, Durham mint, seems only to have been struck once, no obverse visible, just reverse visible on obverse.
