Full Description
Group of brick and timber barns, arranged as façade of two large gables with smaller gables between and to side.
One of larger gabled barns has mansard clerestory; inside arranged as an aisled barn with arched braces in four directions from each aisle post.
Very good example of 19th century farm building, but in poor condition.
E. Rose (NLA) 22 November 1991.
In addition, one barn has a kingpost and strut roof, the other a queenpost roof.
Now in even worse condition, apparently disused.
Seen only in passing by E. Rose (NLA) October 2001.
Photograph, plans (S1) and proposals for conversion in file.
E. Rose (NLA) 6 January 2003.
