5 July 1991. Metal detecting finds west of Peddar's Way.
Medieval inscribed gilt copper alloy ring brooch.
Initials 'A G L A' alternating with small crosses. The initials stand for the Latin version of the Hebrew 'Thou art mighty for ever, O Lord'. The letters were thought to be a charm against fevers.
13th century gilt copper alloy buckle with cast relief decoration in form of 4 scalloped bands.
