Summary

Metal detecting here in 1991 recovered a medieval copper alloy seal matrix. The seal matirx was cicular and had an Agnus Dei motif accompanied by a legend. This seal matrix had very crisp details and was a fine example of its type.

Bronze seal matrix, circular with facetted handle and broken loop.
Two dots to indicate orientation on edge of back.
Motif: Agnus Dei (Lamb with cross and flag) Legend: ECCE AGNUS DEI.
Very crisp details.
