Full Description
September 1991. Metal detecting finds, found close together.
Late Saxon 10th century worn Borre-style disc brooch. Lug (or catchplate) squashed on reverse; no sign of other. Pierced 3 times, once near edge and twice 'overlapping'; probaly reused as pendant.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
Small Early Saxon cruciform brooch, Group II; complete apart from side knobs (detachable if existed). Small bronze ring around end of pin bar on reverse.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NLA).
