Full Description
June 1991. Metal-detecting.
Found in field south of All Saints Church:
Bronze convex disc brooch (S1), Viking import, 10th century. Decorated with three animal heads in spandrels of triangle, with central beaded concentric circles. H-shaped lug, damaged catch-plate and loop for pendant on reverse. Like Ingmar Jansson type IID.
