Purchased 23 August 1991 for Royal Armouries (inv. X.1659).
Stated by vendor to have been found in a ploughed field near King's Lynn in April 1991. Report NCM.
'Small iron scramasax or sax blade of usual shape; single-edged, the half of its length nearest the tip having a convexly curved forward edge and a clipped back. Tang tapers uniformly to a point'.
