It is recorded that around 1974 a plain Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead, complete except for recent damage to the socket, was recovered from a garden in this area.

1974 or thereabouts. Found in garden prior to laying lawn. [1]
Plain bronze socketed axe, complete except for recent damage to socket.
Information from finder to Suffolk Archaeological Unit - object not seen.
