Summary

Metal detecting recovered a 13th century lead seal matrix and a post medieval 4oz weight of James I. The weight has an unusual rocker arm decoration on the reverse that may be a merchant's mark.

Medieval circular lead seal matrix, 13th century. Rosette in centre. S'ADE'FIL' A--N. No lug or loop on reverse.
4oz weight of James I, stamped with four crosses in circles (to show 4oz), crowned IR, Arms of Norwich. Unusual rocker-arm motif on reverse. ?Merchant's mark.
