Summary

This was the site of a settlement during the medieval period, which is documented from the 15th century onwards. Field walking recovered prehistoric flints, pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval periods, and other post medieval finds.

9 and 13 June 1991. Field walking finds.
Roman, medieval, post medieval pottery etc.
Contexts 1 to 12. whole field walked (former track, L112).
Context 13. Pot boiler concentration at TF 9142 1198.
Medieval to post medieval concentration in Context 9.
