See NHER 37953 for fieldwalking survey on the Bacton to King's Lynn Transco pipeline which located medieval pot sherds and building material which corresponds to the findings of this site.

The amount of medieval pottery recovered from this site, and from NHER 28895 and NHER 28896, suggest that this was an area of medieval settlement.
