Summary

Fieldwalking here during 1992 recovered ?prehistoric burnt flint along with medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds. A fieldwalking survey between 2002 and 2003 recovered finds dating from the ?prehistoric to post-medieval period. Metal detecting in 2005 retrieved one post-medieval coin, medieval and post-medieval belt mounts and medieval belt plates.

November 2002 - January 2003. Fieldwalking survey. Bacton to King's Lynn pipeline plot 78.
Fieldwalking recovered 21 burnt flints, two sherds of post-mdieval pottery, one piece of post-medieval bottle glass and two pieces of slag.

See NHER 37953 for fieldwalking survey on the Bacton to King's Lynn Transco pipeline which located a burnt flint mound which was represented by a scatter of 131 burnt flints, which may be associated with this site.
