Summary
Metal detecting here in 1992 recovered a wide range of metal objects and pottery sherds dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval period. Finds of note included a Late Saxon strap end of Scandinavian style, a medieval sword/dagger chape and a post medieval cloth seal with fleur-de-lis and rosette decoration.
