Summary

Gillows Willows Farmhouse probably dates to the early 17th century; a date of 1618 is said to be carved on a beam inside, although this may refer to renovation work, in which case the house is earlier although probably not before 1580. Timber framed in construction, the house was faced in buff-coloured brick in the late 19th century, and has a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends.
